Wow, a lot to take in!

I think this was almost the Doctor-lite episode. He didn't really do that much. His clone and Donna did more.
While much better than The Five Doctors, it was more a celebratory flashback episode of RTD's four-year run. But I still enjoyed it.

Well, it was definitely not a Doctor-lite, but I agree the Doctor was just chasing or being passive most of the time.
I like that when faced with the truth of time, Dalek Caan had a conscience.

Just got caught up, courtesy of YouTube. Great stuff. A somewhat crowded episode, but good nonetheless.

Yes it was a crowded episode. There were parts where I forgot about the second Doctor or Martha.

I think that there were some things that weren't necessary to the plot and it was another case of flick a few switches for an easy escape, but those aside it was rather good.
Although I'm really hoping Rose has gone for good now. The more I see her, the more she annoys the hell outta me!

Why did Dalek Cann go insane? Why did he get tied up?

He supposedly went back into the Time War which was "time locked" whatever that means. So apparently, going into a time-locked event causes one to go insane. Just simply RTD logic really. ;D

Are you implying Russell T. Davies is insane?

Oh yes, he's mad, quite quite mad. I kind of enjoyed the finale, though I didn't like how the Daleks went from being ruthless killers of families in the previous episode to comedy pepperpots that could be pushed about. And why bother bringing Rose back so she could settle for second best? Typical RTD finale stuff, big ballsy and making little sense.

It made slightly more sense than The Five Doctors.

I always wonder why they leave these incredible plot holes when they would be so easy to fix.

I always wonder why they leave these incredible plot holes when they would be so easy to fix. I think they do it to give fans something to talk about. All they really had to do was reverse the polarity of the neutron flow!

All they really had to do was reverse the polarity of the neutron flow! Is reversing the polarity of the neutron flow the same as changing the direction of the neutron flow?
