Yes, it's that time, relished by evil professors everywhere! Exam Time! Maw-ha-ha-ha! ;D
This term I've been teaching a course called Critical Thinking. My final question on the exam is the following:
The Electrician’s Problem An electrician is in the basement of a building with three floors, each with one lighting fixture on each floor. The circuit box in the basement has three breakers (switches), but you don’t know which breaker controls which light. You may only go up into the upper three floors once. How do you determine which breaker goes to which floor? (Going outside will not help.)
Can you figure it out? ;D

I don't know if its blindingly obvious. But the solution did come from a real electrician.
