It's a dilema isn't it?
I ended up closing The Final Frontier, not because of lack of use, but for other reasons that I will not post here.
I don't visit here as often as I should but to be honest, the novelty of forums has worn thin. I no longer post on Planet Skaro either.
Just keep the place going without worrying about updating or advertising it. people will post when they want to.

I actually posted on Logopolis Metroplis today too! The first time in ages.
I'm almost tempted to re-open The Final Frontier as Thasc isn't on the net these days and it was closed down for her.

I agree there are times I wonder whether to give it up. However, I don't want to cut-off the relationships. I'm sad to hear Thasc isn't posting anymore. She was a lot of fun.

My god, I'm sorry to hear that. It's terrible, the effect the economic downturn is having on so many people's lives. And there seems to be no end to it, either. I hope things improve for her soon.

She has very limited internet access at home. She bought a dongle for her laptop but the reception is very poor apparently.
