thinking back to some conversations back on DW2005, i begin to wonder whether or not Dan actually likes Doctor Who. he seems to criticise an awful lot of past and mordern Who. is it just me?  have i had one too many jars of ale tonight or not?   |

I always think it's healthy to be critical of the things you love. However I think Dan was overly-critical of a lot of Doctor Who. I try my best to find something good in every poor story, and you can. But anyway, I don't know if we want this to descend into a Dan bash do we?

I'm not trying to decent into a Dan bash, but i looked in on a thread when i was checking some PMs for details concerning my website, and he seemed to just be criticising some classic Who, as he seemed to do a lot of.
but still, this is my observation, if the prof thinks this is decending into a dan bashing, by all means delete it, i dont want to cause argument!

Dan is claiming the reason people aren't posting is because the number of members that support him are fewer than The Master's supporters; and, they "have wisely decided not to post for a while." Why that is wise, I don't know.

Why that is wise, I don't know. He's trying to save face. We all do it. I think it's important for everyone to remember we all have egos. Although not instinctive, caring for one another's egos will go a long way. I think that if people did a better job of that on both sides, we wouldn't have had the breakdown on DW2005 we did. On a parallel note, I would ask that we not bash Dan or anyone else here. I think we'd all want a more positive tone. The less rehashing, the better. Thanks for your support.  |
