I have been to the Canarias (as the Spanish call them).......I didn't like them much (not enough plant life!) but you may. Enjoy your Holiday.

Thanks Tenerife is lovely we went last year I went to Lanzarote ('Lanzarotten' as I call) it and Fueteventura and I cannot say I liked them much. Fueteventura had some grass and trees on one side of the island unlike Lanzarote (it is meant to have such things but I couldn't find any....save a few palm trees in the towns and a few Vinyards!). I did find something interesting in Lanzarote but only people interested in Biology would appreciate it. What I found a cave (well I found a leaflet which led me to it!) which was the home to Remipedia. |

I've never been to Fueteventura I wasn't that keen on Lanzarote either, too windy and too man made for my liking  Gran Canaria isn't bad though |

They cook Chicken over it then expect people to eat them. No thank you, that is very unhygienic!. I have not been to Gran Canaria. I am actually quite fed up of going to warm countries for my holiday, my next holiday is going to be in Northern Europe. |

Yes I did The Lava Fields are quite impressive, but I thought the volcano was rather disappointing Where in Northern Europe are you thinking of going  |
