I have rather ecclectic tastes, some of my favourite bands/groups would have to be The Smiths, The Beatles, Pixies, Eels, Belle and Sebastian, Joy Division, New Order, KISS, Lordi, Public Enemy, Kraftwerk, The Ronettes, The Shirelles, Talking Heads, Television, Roxy Music REM and Radiohead

Great, great band. I also like Lordi and I am glad that they won Eurovision though I liked Christine Guldbrandsen of Norway, talented and Beautiful! It was disgarceful what some Greeks were saying about Lordi. Both Lordi and Kita are Christian (like most Finns) and Kita wrote a piece of music for his Church.

Lordi are excellent, at first I loved them for the banter, but I was back in Aberdeen the other week and my mate absolutely loves them, and I realised they actually have some cracking tunes. So yeah, I quite like them, and thoroughly enjoyed Eurovision this year, especially Lithuania and the crazy Latvian robot!

Yeah, I was just listening to them a few minutes ago. If Lithuania were the 'We are the Winners' group I didn't really like them but they had guts at least.
I like Norway as it was a Folk song, Sweden because the singer sounds good though she had already one so I didn' really care whether she got points or not and I liked Lordi as they were the most lively group since ABBA to enter the contest. The Ukrainian had an OK voice but struggled with the English words (she substituted a 'Y' with a 'CH').

being an old fuddy duddy who has just entered his 40's, I don't have a favourite these days. My kids do watch the music channels on digital Tv and I enjoy a lot of chart music. However, in my 'youth' I was a huge Culture Club fan.
