I know we have a lot of Battlestar Galactica fans here.
Apparently, the SciFi Channel is going to launch a prequel series, set on Caprica approximately 50 years before the current series.

Yeah I've heard this.
I'm not entirely sure it's a good idea but then I didn't think reimagining Galactica was a good idea either and I was certainly wrong about that.
As with all things we'll see.
It's this possible third variation on Stargate I'm really worried about...
