WANTED: Someone to explain Ghost Light. Ghost Light is about evolution and the inevitability of change, whether one likes it or not. Indeed. It is also about the impossibility of categorising everything.......it cannot be done due to evolution and discovery. Also 'Devolution' plays a part in this; the Policeman turns into primordial 'slime'. Light plays God which leads to his ultimate destruction so in someways it is against Science going too far. 'Ghostlight' was a brilliant and intelligent adventure. I don't really get why nearly every Doctor Who fan is confused by it, though.......
