I am a member of Doctor Who Online Forums and I asked John Levene a question about Roger and I was quite surprised and excited when I received an answer from him  He is very kindly going to pop a photo of himself and Roger in the post for me ;D |

Losing him was worse than the loss of my own father. He was simply wonder and to that end, Thascalos, I have photocopied my favourite picture of Roger and myself, to put in the post to you. Do put it in a place of pride. Also, yes we dined at Roger's house on half a dozen occasions. That was so very special as he would talk about so many fabulous stories of his past life. He was a deep-thinking and emotional gentleman, and he taught me so much. He always helped me if I was a touch concerned about any line of scene I had with him, and yes, my scenes with Roger in Time Monster you can see our mutual affection. For that I will always thank God and be forever grateful that Roger crossed the Earth with his spectacular individuality. I loved him then, I love him now, for the way in which he regarded me as his friend, men such as he are rare and do not come along often. ;D |
