Sunday night, 11th of June. Had 3 strange dreams. Stranger than usual for me that is.
Most notably, in one - I had hair! (ok I have hair but not much on top any more. so have gone recently for 'the Eccleston look'. Only more so - a number 0.5 trim all over).
But in the dream I reached up - and there it was! I could ruffle my own hair again! Fantastic!
Funny, I'd been wishing recently I had the hair to look more like David Tennant's Doctor...
...and there it was... regenerated!
Anyone else having fun dreams like this? (Haven't seen a dream thread for a while)

Not like that no... If your fantasy dreamlife consists of you having hair then you must be very satisfied with your waking life! ;D Except for the hair of course...

Yesterday I had a dream where I bought a grey Bowler hat.

I dreamt I eat my pillow and when I awoke my giant marshmallow had gone.

My dreams are always the nonsensical/insane type. Frequently I don't even feature!

I wonder what dreams the Doctor would have. Dalek ballerinas?

I dreamt I eat my pillow and when I awoke my giant marshmallow had gone. Ah. A classic joke inversion! ;D I wonder what dreams the Doctor would have. Dalek ballerinas? Well Terry Nation did say their movement was based on the Georgian State Dancers... or was that one of his many fibs?

I had a dream about some of the Germanic tribes (Goths, Geats, Vandals, Angles, Jutes and Franks). It was a bit like 'How The West Was Won' though it skipped generations (it feature the migration period etc)

Fun to dream it, too!? May I ask, ... was it all stuff you knew (as historic fact); or like a novel, ie realistic narrative not factual but with the 'flavour' of those days? Were you in it participating or just watching, like a movie? (In colour and surroundsound?);-) Graham

My favourite subject is my hobbie and thus researching, reading and dreaming about it at times is fun also. It was realistic though obviously the dialogue was not realistic (it wasn't in any Old Germanic tongue though it was in a language that Shakespeare could have used). Obviously some of the characters where made up (unlike the Saxon's Cerdic, we don't know much about the leaders of the other tribes like the Angles and Jutes). I was watching like a movie (which is not that common for me.....though neither are dreams let alone epic ones). Good dream........doubt I will ever have one like that again.

If you can once, why not again? Probably you'll never have the EXACT same dream, who'd want that? but possibly similar setting and feel. Some people have recurring dreams, after all. I have re-visited a dream-museum of prehistoric creatures on various occasions. Sometimes the creatures are alive. And, from childhood I've regretted the extinction of such dragons. What I'm interested in/feed my imagination with, I tend to see feature in my dreams. eg Doctor Who scenarios... I would say that in your case such a dream is a likely consequence of immersing yourself in that history; and conversely, I would imagine having dreams like that may help you to engage with, to vividly imagine, those events while awake. So if you want more dreams like that... you can expect them! Graham
