Is someone stuck in the psychadelic sixties? No the psychadelic present. 'Psychadelia' still exists (see the Hippy forums and 'yoism' sites). I saw the light as it were and am dedicating my life to peace and kindness. That was inevitable I think as I have always been 'anti-intolerance'. In my school I never used to understand racism and even when very young I always thought that racism was wrong and never copied the racist adults that frequented my area (I used to have a good Hindu friend, when I was about six, but that was long ago). I also have always been against the killing of insects (spraying flies is a bit like gassing them...........) People most likely think I am lying ( or weird) but I have never been more dedicated to one goal in all my life. I hate the war in Iraq (it sickens me. It was all about Oil!), I hate fascism (and communist for that matter.......though I agree with 'communal groups' my van * is going to be communal! I am a 'communalist'!). I still think the Conservative party is better than our current tyrannical party but I don't like Cameron or politics. What I do like is the human spirit and the kind Judo-Christian God not the made up warrior version. Jesus was a Hippy and had similar teachings to Buddha and may be the same guy as Krishna (a lot of Hindus think he is). I am really designing a peace poster for a Newcastle peace protest (that I know will come soon as this country is going to go to war with many more countries). I want to take a sabbatical to a Buddhist monastry in the Himalayas with a friend but I don't think I can afford. *'The Magical Hippy Tour Bus' inspired by the Who song 'Magic Bus' and the Beatles' 'Magical Mystery Tour'.......though I am an artist I really am going to look for some guys (and girls) to help me paint it. P.S. I would really like to talk with you members as I am getting lonely on this board.  Perhaps you would like to tell me about your views on peace and anything 'Psychadelic'? |
