Never really been a huge fan of The Who, always felt they were very much a singles band. But I love their cover of Martha Reeves' 'Heatwave' and I like this too.

I think they are one of the greatest bands. I think 'Pictures of Lily', 'Substitute' and 'Won't Get Fooled Again' are some of the greatest songs ever.
I prefer the Beatles' cover of 'Twist and Shout' the best but the Who's version is very good also, better than their version of 'Summertime Blues'!

Oh yeah the Beatles version is brilliant, I love their versions of 'Baby It's You' and 'I Got A Woman'. People have tried to get me into The Who but have failed. Hmm.

If I was trying to convert into a Who fan I would make you listen to 'Won't Get Fooled Again', I am listening to it this moment and it has an absolutely amazing sound.

I have that on my iTunes and it is a cracking tune, the Who do have some good stuff, but I always feel that the good song to good album ratio is slightly skew-wiff.

Each to their own. I think of the Who as mainly an album band, 'Tommy' and 'Quadrophenia' have no weak tunes on them.
