2007 appears to be the year of the number 4. Last time I checked, I'm pretty sure that Rambo, John McClane and Indiana Jones are all coming back.
In Live Free Or Die Harder, John McClane goes up against Techno-Terrorists? With a young sidekick apparently. Hmm...
In Rambo 4, Rambo is living in Cambodia stripping tanks and boats when some aid workers get kidnapped and he has to hire a bunch of young bucks to help him save them.
Indiana Jones 4 is said to feature Natalie Portman as Indys daughter and as for the plot and the script, my goodness you don't wanna get started. I'm not even sure one exists anymore.
So, I suppose the question is what other classic trilogies would you like to see a fourth part to? Or what other 80s franchises should get a sequel, I think Buckaroo Banzai is a good bet seeing as it was actually made with a franchise in mind then went horribly horribly wrong.

at least sequals arent as bad as rehashes and new versions of old films. I refer you to the recent posiden, cunningly missing off the word "adventure" in the title to make gullible audiences thing they are watching a new film, not a remake of the posiden adventure!

Luckily, I think few were that gullible. BTW, good to see you again, Beoiwulf, you were missed.

HAHAHAHA! One Thing After Another! Made me laugh out loud, I feel it would be a John Carpenter devised sitcom! And now a scene from next week's show... "Hey John, who's the wacky new alien next door?" "Oh, that's...arrrrrrgh!" "Ha ha, nice tentacles, wraps around a throat quite nicely.....arrrrrgh!"
