After seeing three shows, I have my pick of the Fringe Festival: Toby Hadoke's "Moths Ate My Doctor Who Scarf", it is superb. Think 'Love & Monsters' but real, and funny and more moving.
It's a one man show about a mans life as a Doctor Who fan and how the show has affected his life and of how he has always had the Doctor to turn to. It's absolutely hilarious, especially for us Who fans, I was sitting with three fellow fans and we loved it. There's a nice gag about Sylvester McCoy fans in there along with a comparison between the Autons and Girls Aloud. And also, what other show are you likely to see that references Androgums? It's a great one hour, and the final few minutes are genuinely touching. But I wont spoil that. Not only that but I saw it with a friend of mine who used to be the only other Who fan I knew in school, and we ended up talking about Doctor Who for ages for the first time in years.
So if you're in Edinburgh between now and the 27th, go and see it. If not, I imagine it'll be on in various places throughout Britain.

Of course moths don't eat clothing. Their larvae do. That said you might not consider that the larvae of a moth isn't a moth as well in which case you might be right. Good to see you're having a nice time in Edinburgh. You're missing the Aberdeen Youth Festival of course. Which probably just adds to your enjoyment. ;D www.tobyhadoke.com/moths.phpHe looks a bit like Clayton Hickman doesn't he?

Actually, yes yes he does. Let me think, Fringe Festival or Aberdeen Youth Festival? Tough choice!

I deeply regret we don't have these type of Dr. Who events here in America. You're very lucky.
