sort of inspired by OMKs thread about what people are or have been listening to, i wondered what peoples favourite music videos are.
there are some good ones out there, for instance;
Thriller by Michael Jackson,
Sabotage by The Beasty Boys,
Crazy by Gnarls Barkley.
so, what do other people think?

R. Kelly's "Trapped In The Closet" which, in essence is a music video crossed with a soap opera. Put it into Youtube.com, it's hilarious.
Thriller is a cracker, the video for This Charming Man, Weapon of Choice was an obsession of mine back in the day...

I also thought that the women in 'The Cardigans' looked cute (e.g Sweet or Paedomorphic) and I hope the tattoo I have seen her wear is fake. Before anyone asks, what he's saying here isn't that the women in this video are designed to appeal to paedophiles, but rather that they retain juvenile characteristics in adulthood. See this wikipedia entry. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PaedomorphosisIt's not a particularly well-known word however and if you were to go around saying it in public some lesser informed members of society might have accused him of inferring that they themselves liked such aformentioned things and promptly punched his lights out. One should always be careful with words involving the prefix paedo- these days and this word is no exception. And I can't see what he's talking about in the case of this video anyway. As for the 'Jo Jo's Jacket' video, you don't have to like it. I can't stand the Queen video posted. 'I am the Walrus' is always a laugh though. |

I am not really referring to the Cardigan's video just on of the members. Yes I forgot that the world is too dangerous for the 'Peado-' prefix however online people can easily check the wors in the dictionary. I will continue to use the word as an act of defiance, as this 'Paedo' frenzy annoys me. Pædophiles are individuals who need medical help, Pædophilia is a disgusting crime and children should be protected however any word with 'Paedo' in it shouldn't be shunned.
In my opinion Pædophilia is the wrong word for people who sexually pray on Children. Pædo means Child and Pædophile means someone who loves children (well it actually means 'Child-Friend'), I don't call sexually abusing children 'love'.
Here is a word with 'Pædo' in it that people don't get upset about: Pædiatrics

I clearly remember an incident where your typical 'angry mob' attacked a house on an estate because they'd been told the man who lived there was a paediatrician. People can easily check the word in a dictionary, but angry mobs don't tend to contain people with dictionaries, or the will to use them. Anyhow we've gone spectacularly off-topic here and should get back to great music videos there have been. |

Oh... dear. Cheesy eurorave. And it's been uploaded so many times. Mostly by the same person! I see what you mean although I'm fairly sure none of the mods I know look like the girl at the end. ;D(Although we know Thasc is gorgeous.   ) The only video I've seen uploaded more is Stacy's Mom by Fountains of Wayne.
