I've been among the missing lately. It is not as someone suggested school related, at least completely. I've been working with a very difficult and time-consuming client. The time consumed exceeds the my expectations, and soon my patience.  Can I borrow the Master's Tissue Compression Eliminator, just in case? If I'm not around, it's not for a lack of caring.  |

For me it's been the worst summer on record, and though I haven't been here you haven't missed much really. Things are looking up a little though, I'm happy to say!

What happened was that my horse badly injured her foot (stepped on a rusty nail somewhere in the pasture) and ended up having to have minor surgery. Cost of meds, surgery, and board at a barn where she could keep the foot constantly dry, was a LOT. At the same time, work has dropped WAY off for everyone in my field. It has to do with the real estate market having tanked. Long story, but I don't recall when I've been financially in worse shape than I am at the moment. A glance at what I do for a living (www.traciethompson.com) will tell you why I'm dependent upon a healthy real estate market. People have to feel comfortable spending the money, and right now not enough of them do.
Twilight, my horse, is now fine, and my bank balance will hopefully improve as fall/winter season begins again. Things are normally slow here in summer but this summer has just about killed everyone.

Ooh. That's unlucky. Good to hear Twilight's alright though. Nice website by the way. Impressive artwork too. I'm sure I've been to your site before. Have you changed it recently or is it just my memory playing up? Hope you get more commissions soon.  |

Yep, I've changed the site a little. I frequently add new images to the portfolio.
The front page looks better now. That photo of the billiards room with the painted walls, my brother took that shot. He's a professional photographer and happened to be doing interiors there, not knowing who had done the artwork. Great luck for me!
So, is this place coming to life again? Darnacan's back; doesn't it have to?
