Unfortunately, Jane Wyatt just died at the age of 94. She is best known to scifi fans as Spock's mother on Star Trek.
She was also known as Mrs. Anderson in the 1950s show, Father Knows Best, where she often showed that the mother often knows best. (I don't know if Father Knows Best ever made it to the UK, but it was a classic family show of the era, and far less corny.)
This elegant lady was a class act all the way.
