A really good friend of mine is working in the Festival box office and phoned me up this afternoon to offer me a free ticket for Ricky Gervais. (The going rate for a ticket is about £37) and I'm in bloody Aberdeen! Grrrrr....just needed to vent, anyone else got tales of woe such as this?

yup.
three bands i really wanted to see; W.A.S.P., Iced Earth and Edguy were all playing near where i was at uni, so was gonna go.
ended up in hospital and missed them!

it was just over three years ago. im alright now.
had a very nasty bout of pneumonia.
