Hi All,
As you may have noticed, I have not published any fan fiction for the last year and a half. I got really busy, but I was always thinking about new plots. While it's long overdue, I've come up with three new storylines, the first of which is called Sphere of Influence.
I have been building a longer story arc along the lines of RTD. It was subconcious at first, then it became more deliberate as I realised I could actually do it. It first become more deliberate then I inserted the idea of the Felgrew Conjecture into Days Even Darker. Of course, when the BBC aired The Last of the Time Lords, it threw off my "Master Plan", but I have readjusted.
Since it has been so long since you may have read my stories, I have included links to the archived stories below. Days Even Darker and Firefly in particular would be the most important to the backstory.
So building on this arc, I present... Sphere of Influence
"The Doctor, Faye and Deiter visit the largest man-made structure in the universe, the Andranos Solarsphere. It's a technological, economic, social, and political marvel. However, even Utopia has it's secrets. But the Solarsphere has secrets within secrets. And behind all the secrets is a trap, a trap that will cost one member of the TARDIS crew dearly."

Archived Stories:
Ahead of Its Time
"There's an ancient secret skulking around on Acturus 3, not to mention an erratic Dalek and an insufferable PC activist. So then, why is the Doctor so concerned with cabbages?"
(This was my first fan fiction story I wrote and originally posted on the now-defunct BBCi "Time & Space" board, from December 2003 through February 2004. As my first attempt, this story is a bit more humourous than my later stories. I started with the goal of writing a story that included three bizarre characters described above, giving it a more Douglas Adams-type tone. My first draft of this story didn't include a companion. I quickly discovered why writing with a companion makes it easier to move things forward. Thus, Faye Austin, the chef, was invented. My later stories are more plot driven. So, it's short 11-part romp.)
The Phoenix Destinies
"The Doctor pays a long-overdue visit to someone very special. He and Faye arrive just in time for a very historic 'first contact'. And of course, things never go smoothly when the Doctor is around. But luckily, Faye knows a good marinade recipe."
(This was my second story, originally posted on the now-defunct BBCi "Time & Space" board, during February and March 2004. It remains one of my favourites. I'm particularly proud of the ending to Part 2. This story lays some of groundwork for Days Even Darker.)
Days Even Darker
"An old Type-40 capsule arrives on Gallifrey with a dying Time Lord on board, a Time Lord who shouldn't even exist. His dying words are a cryptic warning. What is the "ancient conspiracy"? Why is it such a threat to Gallifrey, and the universe? And what answers does the Doctor possess? As usual, he's not telling all he knows, much to the frustration of both Faye and President Romana."
(This was my third story, a 24-parter, originally posted on DW2005. It came out of two story ideas that I decided to combine. One idea was about manufacturing religions, while in the other, I wanted to explore the reason for the Doctor. It became a very complicated story, yet it came together in the end. It follows on from my story, The Phoenix Destinies.)
Firefly
After an explicable accident causes the Doctor to regenerate in the TARDIS, Faye and the Doctor explore 1951 Argentina, only to discover parasitic cattle, a very unusual post-war plot, and the return of an old enemy.
Paradox Lost
A message from beyond the grave sends the Doctor, Faye and Deiter on a bizarre quest for an inexplicable doomsday device. "Think of the universe as a balloon", explains the Doctor. "This device is the pin." Who will possess it? And why would anyone create such a device? Where will it end? In a place where even the Doctor couldn't imagine.
(While not as critical to the story arc, this story is my favourite. It combines an unusual plot with some sentimental touches.)
This all leads up to Sphere of Influence and two additional tantalising DW stories.
