What if the truth is that there is no love? Love is the only real truth, the purest of all things on Earth. It bridges the gap between disunity, defeats hatred and soothes the soul like cleansing waters. If love enters your heart, whether it be love for your soul-mate, love for an 'enemy', love for your ''pets'', love for your family, embrace it and let it take you down the gently flowing stream of a life worthwhile. If man did all things with love, truth and justice would prevail instead of the dogma and the injustice that is prevalent in the world today. Justice without mercy do not go together. I would respectfully disagree that "Love is the only real truth". While a romantic view, there are other truths, perhaps less noble, but truths nonetheless. Love, like any virtue, can be taken to extremes. Love can blind, turn to jealousy, and even cause hatred of others who threaten those we love. Don't get me wrong I love love and all its noble aspects and positive permutations. But the only truth is truth. (Forgive the tautology.)

Yes, there are other truths but when I say ''real'' I mean the most noble and the most pure. I don't speak of love in an obsessive sence nor a romantic sense but in a universal sense. The love for all forms of life will prevent jealousy and hatred for others. If love becomes hatred it ceases being love and thus becomes pure hate and cancels out your love for all. You cannot accept the teachings of love and nonviolence while hating others.
Anyway, I respect your view and needed to clarify (in a sadly not too articulate manner, I am afraid).

I'm sorry, did I hear Ghandhi and Jean-Paul Sartre in here?

Sartre I respect greatly but am not really a follower. As for Gandhi-ji, I have always been a follower of Gandhigiri (though not the best example in the past). I am pleased that you are familiar with both. :-) JAI JAI!
