I've been listening to the first two installments of "Invaders from Mars". I find it very funny, and over the top, perhaps because I'm an American. (Do people in the UK really think New Yorkers speak like that, even then?) Technical Nitpick: One character referred to the CIA. The CIA didn't exist in 1938. And its predecessor didn't begin until the war.

Ah but how do you know the CIA didn't exist then? Because they told you? The CIA might have existed for years before they were officially announced. I'll bet they were formed after Lincoln's assassination to root out dissention! Conspiracy theorist? Me? Don't know what you mean. (I'll bet someone from the CIA is reading this right now because I posted the words 'Lincoln' and 'assassination'! Hello!) _______________________ I like this! It's a fun romp and good fun. Slightly predictable in places but still enjoyable. And The Doctor as a PI is a long overdue plot device. I'm amazed they didn't work in a Frobisher reference! ;D

All kidding aside, I think Invaders from Mars was the best of the four audios, so far.
I particularly enjoyed the bit where the aliens call Cosmo, "Scum Devene".

I loved the Cosmo Devene character. Not often you see a gay villian.

Didnt really like this story. Actually I didnt really like many of the McGann stories apart from "Chimes of Midnight" which I thought was great.

I enjoyed them all, although I found Chimes slightly tedious.
