Spooky Christmas Who from Big Finish starring Paul McGann and written by Robert 'Dalek' Shearman.
Christmas Eve. The snow is falling and it's freezing outside. But surely it can't be cold enough that time itself has frozen? The Doctor and Charley explore a house that isn't as deserted as it seems...
Starts Saturday 17th December at 6.30pm & 12.30am! BBC7!

Listened to it last night. Quite intriguing. Reminds me a little of Hartnell's The Space Museum.

Yes, quite intriguing. I wonder who's control Edward Grove?

I thought the last eposide of "Chimes" was slightly illogical. If I understand it correctly, the whole paradox was caused by Charlie arriving at Edward Grove and meeting Edith, someone who committed suicide 20 years later, upon hearing the news of Charlie's supposed demise on the RU101. I really don't know how this makes a paradox. A coincidence, yes. A paradox, no.

I think the reason it's a paradox is because Charley turning up before she met Edith changed history, affected Edith significantly for her to remember seeing her in that state. Then some twenty years later when Edith learns that Charley was aboard the R101, she can remember seeing Charley in her past, alive and well. One of the problems that faces Edith- "are you dead or alive, did I die for nothing?"
Therefore a paradox ensues.

Well... it only takes a slight quirk to make a paradox, plus there's Charley's chronol aura that would have an effect, boosting the paradox significantly.

It's a bit from my own cover of my vast story saga project; The Doomsday Cause, mk III cover!

Yes, I've seen it now. It looks good, although in your avatar, it looks more like a muddy cyberface. ;D
