Season 27 at last!

The new series of Doctor Who has arrived in Canada. And, some merchants in the United States snagged it too. I bought mine from www.whona.com.

I have only watched "Rose" thus far.

Here are some photos of the set itself with the new packaging for Region 1.







Notice the box is thin compared to the huge R2 box.



The inside contents plus the outside clear cover at the top center.



I am not too wild about discs on top of other discs. I may buy 5 individual mini-DVD boxes for the discs.

I'm torn. On one hand I want to order the set.

On the other, it's only a month til it starts on SciFi. (the cheapskate in me.) ;D

I notice it's going into the Stargate Atlantis 9PM Friday timeslot.

i like that packaging. in fact, i much prefer it to the UK release with the big bulky box thats pretty much a waste of space!

I agree entirely, I have already re-packaged mine in a standard 6-disc case with a fan-produced sleeve matching the other BBC covers.

The series on VHS takes up less room than that thing!

Hahaha, ah the box, it sits on my floor in my room at Halls with my bulky Seinfeld "Puffy Shirt" boxed set! I like the Canadian packaging though, nice and slimline.
