I saw on the BBC site that they've animated the missing episodes of Invasion. What does everyone thing about that?

I think it's a wonderful idea, and hope they do it with many other Doctor Who stories, they have the telesnaps and the sound effects so the logical next step is to translate all this into animated form. Well done to the team behind the DVD releases, splendid chaps...all of them.

I think it a brilliant idea. Long overdue!

I like the idea. The only problem is that they are only doing it for the missing episodes of the Invasion story. I think it will be odd shifting between animation and live action in the same story.
I'd really like to see them animate full stories.

Full missing stories sure. They've got to start somewhere though and this is a very good place to start. It's no odder than shifting between their previous reconstructions or whichever actor/actress was filling in the blanks.
Also two episodes is much less expensive than, say, all seven episodes of Marco Polo. Or all ten missing episodes of Mission to the Unknown/The Daleks' Masterplan!
Although I do think they should do a one-off 'The Feast of Steven' for an online Christmas Special! ;D

YES! Or have it on before "The Runaway Bride". 'And a very merry christmas to all of you at home...now let's see what that latest incarnation of mine is up to...hmm?'
