Just seen a great first episode of "Adam Adamant Lives" on BBC3 earlier. 40 years before "Austin Powers films", Adam is frozen in time in 1902 and is discovered 66 years later in swinging London on a worksite. After recovering from being disorientated (as you do), he sets about breaking up a protection racket.
Looks a bit dated now, but this was made in the same year that Pat Troughton made his first appearance as the Doctor.

I vaguely remember this from the sixties. I seem to recall liking it at the time. I wonder if it's out on dvd or anything. Wonder what I'd think of it now?

Apparently, most of the surviving episodes (I think there were just two series made) are now available on DVD, so it's worth hunting about for them.
I'd always heard of Adam Adamant, but never saw them (bit before my time, I'm afraid!)
