It's kind of like Quantum Leap, without the camp.

I have seen it. It's interesting that you compare it to Quantum Leap. In my mind, it kind of parallels the difference between the old and new Battlestar Galacticas.
Certainly Olivia is meant to be the Dean Stockwell character, but a lot more mysterious. There certainly is a lot of things up in the air. Does the Lawrence-Livermore scientist know more than he's telling? Will the money be found and cause problems in the present? Will Dan and Olivia cross the line? Will they ever tell Jack what's going on?

Well, things are heating up. Jack has tattled to the Feds on Dan about the cash in the closet. And supposedly, the mysterious doctor (Not Doctor) may explain to Dan what's going on.
Sam Beckett never had these problems. ;D

Theories:
The Lawrence-Livermore scientist knows more than he's telling. OK, that's not much of a stretch.
But I also have a hunch about Dan's father. I think he was a time traveler too. He "disappeared" years ago. He knew the Lawrence-Livermore scientist too. Eh? What do you think?
