Blakes Back!

Sky One have announced a new series of Terry Nation's Blakes 7. It'll take the form of 2 sixty minute episodes. I would imagine they'll take their cue from Battlestar by having a complete reboot.

So whats the thoughts? I personally can't move for all the remakes and reboots that are kicking about right now. Battlestar Galactica and Doctor who have a lot to answer for!

According to what I have read on the BBC site, Sky One have merely comission 2 scripts and have no plans at the moment to actually make the show.

Hmmm, I wonder if their rumoured Prisoner remake is a similar thing? Buying scripts but not necessarily producing them just yet?

I think the Prisoner would be an interesting program to bring back. Blake's 7, less so.
