I thought this one was another Moffat Masterpiece. Scary and pulled on the heartstrings on many levels. I like how the stereotypical corporate suit turned out to be trying to save a little girl.
I do hope Alex Kingston returns. She's clearly companion material.

Isn't it funny how we say that about Moffats charecters each year. Someone from each of his stories so far could have made an excellent companion.
The Empty Child - Nancy The Girl in the Fireplace - Madame de Pomadour Blink - Sally Sparrow Silience in the Library - River Song

What can you say, Moffat is just great. Looking forward to when he comes to lead the show!

Ever so slightly underwhelmed by this one, mainly because it had a lot of elements of his previous episodes. (Conclusion to the cliffhanger with a squareness gun etc.) That said it was still absolutely cracking, the final scene with Lee and Donna as he tried to call out her name broke my cold cold heart.
Tennant was on top form too, his shock at how River Song knows his name was beautifully played.
I also advise, if you've not already heard it, to listen to the riotous, hugely entertaining commentary by Messrs Davies, Moffat and Tennant. Such highlights include "Explain that bad wolf thing to me again?" and "You could have Jimmy Nisbetts face coming down the time tunnel" Great fun!

I agree it wasn't as good as The Empty Child, The Girl in the Fireplace or Blink, but it was still one of the highlights of the season.
I'm not too excited about Midnight. But then it's onto the final three!
"I'm sorry, Davros who?" ;D
