To me, this was the throwaway episode of the series. I think it was the economy episode. It was quick and cheap to produce, (two small sets). It allowed Catherine Tate to spend time elsewhere, probably on the Tennantless episode.
I gave it the lowest rating I've ever given a story. Waste of time.

Totally disagree! I absolutely loved Midnight, a claustrophobic, scary allegorical tale of fear, paranoia and the evil human beings are capable of. Good to have something different after 4 years, and loved the fact the Doctor didn't have a clue what the being was. One of my favourites of Season 4 if not since the show came back. It's divided the fanbase though, no bad thing.
8/10

I kinda agree with the Prof. Not a fav, especially coming directly after The Forest of the Dead, which was superb.
