I can't wait for Christmas, I finish work this Friday and not back until Jan 5th. I've got a double celebration too as I shall be 40 on Dec 28th ;D As I recall you are usually not online when you are not at work. So, Happy Birthday in advance, especially for such a momentous birthday. As for being exciting for Christmas, I am a little less than enthused. I'm having construction on my house that was supposed to be finished weeks ago. It won't be finished until after Christmas. So we can't even put up decorations. 2008 has been a crap year for me, so I'm generally depressed. Sorry. But please, don't mind me. Be of good cheer.

Sorry to hear about your bad year John! Hope 2009 is much kinder on you. And to Thasc, a very happy birthday and Christmas!
As for me, I'm more excited about being at home with my old mates from Edinburgh and getting out of Aberdeen for a while more than anything else! That and new Wallace and Gromit!
