Did anyone see it? I'm amazed, utterly stunned. It's hard to imagine that this is the same show that gave us the orgasm alien or the aptly named Gray. Grown up drama with plenty of backstory for Ianto and Jack and not to mention a fair degree of creepiness, can't wait to see where they go with this.

It was absolutely brilliant, wasn't it? I thoroughly loved it. Torchwood has gotten so much better as it's gone on.

Oh absolutely, there was scenes such as Peter Capaldi's first conversation with the 456 and the cabinet discussing which children to give up where I had to go "Is this Torchwood?" RTD's said he still wants some involvement in the spin-off's and if this 5 episode format allows him to do that then I whole-heartedly support a fourth series of Torchwood.
