I picked Battlestar reboot, but I wouldn't place it in the minor/bad category, although I would put the original one in there.

Yeah, I agree, the "old boot" is sufficiently campy, every "centon" of it.
Was it feldergarb or felgercarb?
I chose "The Starlost" because I had completely forgotten about it. Didn't it have Keir Dullea of 2001 in it? "My god, it's full of stars!"

The old 'Battlestar Galactica' was sometimes campy but I find the new one to be faux ''adult''. The characters seem like a child's idea of dark, broody adulthood. The original didn't have this problem; not all the characters were lousy people and the more adult characters such as Adama (played by the great Lorne Greene) seemed like a realistic adult and a realistic grandfather.
The new one also jettisoned the better aspects of the older series and replaced them Sci-Fi cliché. The ancient astronaut angle was dropped as was the mysticism angle which made the show somewhat unique.
I also do not like the main characters in the new one (apart from Dean Stockwell's, but he is a favourite actor of mine). I missed the quirky Starbuck and the very athel Apollo. And were was Sheba? Instead of turning Starbuck into a woman, they could have resurrected this character and made her stronger.
That said, Glen A. Larson's 'Buck Rogers' was aweful as a whole and it may get my vote.
