I'm surprised no one has mentioned The End of Time Part 1.
I don't want to give any spoilers away, but what a startling ending. And I don't mean the (presumably temporary) extinction of the human race.
And what is the point of the Master's carnivorousness? I hope it actually has a point.

I suppose people have been busy.
-- SPOILER ALERT -- | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |
I liked that the Time Lords were gone. Why bring them back? Bringing back the Time Lords does seems like RTD is making it difficult for Moffat to top anything.
That tragic background gave the Doctor so much powerful pathos. I hope it's not really true. Admittedly, I have ulterior motives. I'm working on a fan fiction that depends on the Time Lords being dead. I won't write another word until Part 2.

I have the typical RTDish quibbles about things, the super Master, Master race, the typical self congratulation of RTD.
But the return of the Time Lords, bloody fantastic! Thank Gods he finally saw that getting rid of them was a mistake

The Timelords had one of the most interesting and well-desogned cultures in the show. I have given up on NU-HU but it is good to see them return.

The most unrealistic aspect of the story is not the Master being everyone, or the return of the Time Lords. The most unrealistic thing is that Obama would have an economic cure for the world. Don't get me wrong. His general approach to diplomacy, climate change, and many other issues is far superior to Bush's. However, he fails to grasp certain economic realities, such as America's enormous national debt. Neither Bush, Obama, nor many other American politicians understand the concept of fiscal responsibility. Oh, I'm sorry; we were speaking about The End of Time. Forgive my rant. I'm sure the Master will have better economic policy. ;D

I have been reviewing Part 1.
And I have a sneaking suspicion, Wilf is a Time Lord who has used the Chamelion arch. Has he a suspious looking pockethingych on him?
We'll find out.
The New Year approaches! Mah-ha-ha!

Actually, I agree with you, Slagathor. I think Obama has more class and dignity than shrub, but he isn't exactly the messiah that the Obamaniacs made out that he would be. Still, I hope his Health Care reform goes through so US citizens can get adequate and inexpensive care that they need.
