2005 back up

Well the forum is back up. But its been re-arranged and re-titled for each section.

I was ok with the original re-arrangement of the section, but not with this one. It just feels different. Not the same, and without most of us there it still won't be the same. I probably won't leave but won't be there as frequently either.

I think Dan fails to understand that people have an emotional investment in the Forum, and such abrupt changes put people off.

Then, when he closed the board in anger, people felt vulnerable, and thus angry at him, even if they did not feel that way before.

I tried to explain that to him, but he was too angry to understand. I feel bad for him, but he did do some damage to the trust they might have had in him.
