What did you think?

It seemed a very weak story. A few nice moments, but filled with a lot of rubbish, such as the detector the Doctor built from scraps on his bed. (Not even timey-wimey.)

After all the wait, the payoff was rubbish. Unless...

Who made the Tardis/Time Engine? If it's not answered in the finale, then what was the point?

Yes, this seemed to be one of those stories that is deliberately designed to leave a loose end. Who made the time engine? The Master? Davros? Jenny? River Song? Romana? A pre-time lord? Otherwise it's a meh story.

Maybe it's something for next series to address.
