Sad news, indeed. Polish scream queen and beauty Ingrid Pitt passed away in a hospital two days after her 73rd birthday.
She was one of the most iconic stars of UK horror, famous for her roles in the Hammer film 'The Vampire Lovers', 'The Wicker Man' and Amicus's 'The House That Dripped Blood'. Very generous to her fans, she appeared in many internet chats and in conventions. She will be sadly missed.
