What an amazing story!
A Doctor Doppleganger. Was that actual Tom Baker's voice? Or did Matt Smith do a smack-on impersonation?
And now we know something more about the eye-patch lady. What a brilliant ending.

Lots of moving parts. Lots of mysteries. Lots of clues.
Brilliant episode, BTW.
Time for some theories.
First, some observations:
- After the Doctor dies, River Song says a time lord's body is a miracle. Many would want even his dead body. - The Silence told Amy to tell the Doctor. - The Silence tends to the girl's welfare - The Silence's true purpose was never revealed - The mysterious child begins the regeneration process - The Doctor tells the Flesh Doctor that he may return - The trailer for episode 7 indicates the eye-patch lady is building a weapon (related to the child) - In an interview, Karen Gillan says everyone's life will change forever
I think the Doctor is the baby's father (In vitro of course) This was done during the three days Amy was held by the Silence I think the Doctor who died in Utah, is a regeneration of the Flesh Doctor. (Notice that this Doctor didn't have a TARDIS.)
Of course, since Stephen Moffat is far more clever than me, this is probably all wrong. ;D

Agree on The Flesh Doctor, although cos it's Moff there's probably a lot more complications. Have you seen the prequel on the BBC site John? It heavily suggests that the Doctor is the father. I'm really loving this series, it feels so fresh and exciting, Moffat is really putting his own mark on the show.
As for The Almost People, truly wonderful. The Doctor switcheroo and Amy's relationship with both versions was fantastic. And as for that ending, whilst not being as shocking a cliffhanger as everyone had us believe. (purely because I think TimeGirl was a masterstroke.) And I LOVE how the Doctor had it all figured out like 2 minutes into the episode. Cannot wait until Saturday.

Again, can't really disagree with OMK on this one! Brill episode, loved it all.

I thought it was great episode too.
However, the Amy pregnancy thing bothers me. It's clearly against her will. Assuming so, she's been sexually violated. I just think that's a very mature topic for a children's show. I know DW is a very adult children's show, but still.

But of course with Doctor Who, nothing is what it seems. We'll just have to see.
