I watched Terra Nova this autumn.
I enjoyed it. It wasn't the crazy mad Doctor Who, but it had a fair amount of intrigue, with an unexpected cliffhanger.
Did it play in the UK? If not, I don't want to give any spoilers.

Yes, it played here and I recorded the entire series. I've still got the final four episodes to watch though. How were the ratings in the US? Is it a show that is likely to be renewed?

The first season averaged 7.52 million American viewers. No decision is supposed to be made on Season 2 until 2012.
Unfortunately, I'm sensing an ebb in good science fiction in the United States. The networks do one season of a show, such as Flash Forward or The Event, and then give up on it.
I'm hoping Terra Nova breaks the trend and is revived for another season.

I know. I have watched shows such as No Ordinary Family just to see it get cancelled after the one season.

Was not a big fan of No Ordinary Family, but I enjoyed Terra Nova.
