The Missing
With Queen Elizabeth the second back on the throne and Great Britain back to normal, some things that were overlooked in the previous six months and longer are coming to the fore. UNIT are called in to investigate the disappearance of large numbers of people in a very small area, including several police investigators and two UNIT operatives.
The TARDIS returns to Earth, merely a matter of moments after it left from the point of view of the Doctor and Jess, to discover that the investigation is fully underway, being headed up by Tom and Captain Morris.
Something is concealed below the streets of London and plans are being made; plans that would not only have devastating consequences on the Earth, but the web of time itself. And this time, not everyone is going to get out alive.
