I have to say that I felt this to be one of the weakest of the series so far. The ending felt a little rushed to me and it felt like there could have been some more explanation as to the aliens and their motives. Felt like there were a few unanswered questions.
But, the plus side, there were some great things here too. Kate Stewart. I got a lump in my throat when I realised who she was. I have to say it was a loving and wonderful touch, and if memory serves, I believe that the Brig did indeed have a daughter called Kate. It's nice to show that there was another side to the Brig that we never got to see. Would be nice to see her come back.
Mark Williams continues to be great as Brian Williams. The laughs were there freely with him. And I have to say that I liked the talk he had with the Doctor about what happened to those who've traveled with him in the past.
Still, next weeks looks fantastic. Weeping Angels in New York! And not just the normal angel looking ones!
