This could be my last message for a while. Hurricane Sandy, a 900-mile-wide superstorm is making landfall in a few hours in the northeastern U.S.
The water is rising along southern tip of Manhattan. If the water rises six more feet--which it might--it will flood the subway (underground). That will mean it'll be down for months.
I've already lost power a few times today. I'm expecting it to go out for much longer once the storm hits for real.

Three large trees fell on my property. Two of them on my house. It's not pretty. Luckily no one was hurt.
