How cool is that? Can't wait.
2013 is turning out to be a banner Doctor Who year. 50th Special. A new Doctor. And now vintage episodes recovered.

Yes, I guess the Web of Fear in particular is a story a lot of fans would want to see recovered, as it containsthe first appearance of the Brigadier (though he was Colonel Lethbridge-Stewart then!). Funny to think I remember it when it was on TV. It'll be interesting to see it again, and see how it compares with my memories.

We've just finished watching all six episodes of the Web of Fear. Great fun, but it's a pity they haven't managed to recover episode three. Still, we can be grateful for what we've got.

Loved watching these for the first time! Although having listened to the soundtrack to Web so many times it felt like such an old friend, even thoguh it was the first time I'd actually seen it. Having only heard Enemy of the World the once, this was just like watching a brand new Troughton story. Whilst the surviving ep never really grabbed me when I saw it on its own, as part of the whole it was just magnificent.
