There's been a lot of talk about Her Majesty abdicating the throne, although apparently she doesn't plan to. What does everyone think should happen?

No, she should never abdicate. I don't mind the Queen she isn't overly snobbing and was very good to the forces during the war years.
Plus she doesn't like eating escargot which is also a dish I cannot stand!

I agree. Monarchs should judged on their culinary tastes. Naturally. My father was a head chef. You can tell a lot about someones character by their culinary tastes!

Actually, I change my mind. Yes, she should as she serves no real purpose. The government go unchecked and it is the people who get stamped on. Maybe a revolution is in order?
I would prefer an Anglo-Saxon monarchic system were the monarch is voted in and can be deposed.
