I just decided to create a new thread for the sake of it.
Had a rather depressing weekend. I won't bore you with details.
Anyone have anything to share?

Yes.
Nintendo Wii's are near impossible to get hold of. After just 4 days of searching, I just happened to ring Currys at the right time as they had just had a delivery. So I ordered one, but the games were not that great (mostly quiz games). On Friday afternoon, I walked in to Game on Kensington High Street looking for a remote controller for the Wii I had bought that morning and they too had just had a batch delivered, but with the games I was looking for.
So, where some people have been looking for months on end without success, I ended up with TWO after just 4 days of searching!!
I wanted to put the one from Currys on e-bay, but I ended up cancelling the order to help out my poor exhausted credit card.

Quite possible, but to be honest, my wife didn't want me to spend the money on two consoles.

With the Wii shortage you could have waited for 1 week and made a profit on it.
In the past I have tended to get things that are cheap and easy to get hold of to then wait until Christmas when they are a lot harder so I can make a quick buck or two.

Well I've finished Uni for another term, so I'm back home preparing for a trip to Freiburg in Germany tomorrow. Also coming up with film and documentary ideas for next year's film making course.

Malcolm Middleton's 'We're All Going To Die' is the feel good classic of the season.
