Kez and the young man reached the library with only seconds left to spare, the Azrion for some reason didn’t seem to want to follow them. The young man collapsed into a chair. Kez leaned over him to see if he was alright as she did so she took a quick glance around the room and frowned.
“A library with no books, that’s very strange!” she said.
“But I don’t understand I have been here many times to study! There are rows and rows of books on……on, if only I could remember” the young man stammered.
“You mean this place is familiar to you!” Kez queried.
The young man nodded “I have vague recollections of this building yes, but I cannot remember specific details of when I was here or for what purpose”
Kez noticed a leather bound book laid flat on one of the shelves, she picked it up and blew dust off the front cover. The title said Baalus
“So this was what Nix was going on about” she muttered to herself.
As she was about to open it the young man knocked it out of her hands shaking his head saying “No you mustn’t open it! I implore you please do not open that book”.
“But it’s only a book, and quite important to Nix too from what I can gather!” Kez replied. She went over to pick it up when the door flung open and Nix strode angrily in.
“You have saved me a lot of trouble Professor Galeano! Thank you for finding the book of Baalus. You will please now accompany me there is work to be done!” he boomed.
Kez smiled and shook her head “Oh no Nix not this time, we’re not going anywhere with you”
“You think not well I think I can persuade you to change your mind. Now then your companion here is somewhat surplus to requirements I shall have to remedy that”
Nix closed his eyes and the young man began clutching his head and screaming in excruciating pain. Nix opened his eyes and glanced across at Kez he began to laugh at her concern.
The Master found himself once again pinned up against the wall by invisible forces, the crimson red eyes floated directly in front of him.
“You will help me, if you ever want to see your wife again, you will do exactly what I say. Now go to the London School of Economics, you must learn to do as you are told” the voice said.
The Master was released and he ran to his TARDIS.
“Master what on earth is going on?” Tor asked
“Never mind that now! We have to go to the London School of Economics if I am to stand any sort of a chance of finding my wife!”
Issac didn’t seem to like that idea and before anybody had a chance of stopping him he ran over to the Master and started to scratch at his face. The Master fought him off as best he could but it seemed like he had almost super human strength. Tor tried to lend a hand but Issac threw him to the floor
“Jacob, Kane protect Mrs and Infant Jones!” the Master began.
Tor was quickly back on his feet he grabbed hold of Issac’s arm but he quickly let go when he saw his hand dripping with some sort of slime. Jo screamed as Issac suddenly seemed to start to melt and at the same time start to become fused to the Master. Dane somehow managed to peel Issac away from the Master but it was too late to make an escape himself and he began to be engulfed by what used to be Issac but now was nothing more then a sticky mass of slime. The last of Dane’s screams echoed around the control room and the slime began to advance towards the horrified on lookers………………………..
