The being that materialised in front of the Master, Jacob, Jo and Tor was nothing out of the ordinary he was humanoid, quite tall, with jet black hair and amazingly dazzling icy looking blue eyes he smiled and spoke in a voice which was deep and resonant
“You still have not learnt to do as you are told! I asked you to meet me inside the London School of Economics, I was not aware I had given you permission to leave, however I do admire your courage and determination. I hope you are not contemplating putting a stop to the ceremony. I have waited several millennia for the right alignment of the planets and stars and of course circumstances have to be perfect here on Earth which they are. Oh well it’s time to go to Westminster Bridge you can watch the ceremony, don’t worry though I will not cause the alien too much discomfort it has to be alien blood you see since I…. Oh dear forgive me I am rambling on far too much”.
“I won’t let you hurt anybody! Just go and leave this planet in peace, its inhabitants have never done you any harm!” Jacob began as he drew his laser gun.
The being roared with laughter and said “Brave words indeed being, you feel some sort of loyalty to this planet because your mother was human but be under no illusion that you would not be welcome here once it is made known who your father is so it is no concern of yours what happens to this world”
Jacob watched the laser gun beginning to turn red and quickly dropped it before he burnt his hand.
“You might be able to fool Captain Andros and Mrs Jones with a lot of stupid tricks. But I am not so easily mislead, you want a battle of wills then fine you can have one. I am the Master and I am from Gallifrey my mind is ten times stronger then that of any puny human being, I can match whatever you see fit to conjure up so do please feel free to get on with it and do you worst”
“A Timelord yes I know who you are, I have followed your distinguished life of crime for many years. You are not my immediate problem. Come, come one come all to Westminster Bridge you will not be disappointed with the events you are about to witness” the being continued.
“We’re probably walking into a trap if we go with him!” Jo suggested.
“Don’t worry Mrs Jones, I know what I am doing, this being, entity or whatever he is had better prepare himself because I don’t intend to lose my wife or this planet” replied the Master, calmly as he turned on his heel and began to follow the being. Jacob and Jo had to hurry to keep up with them.
Once they reached Westminster Bridge Nix deposited the young man on the ground, he snatched the book of Baalus from Kez and opened it
“Oh yes just what I am looking for! Now if I recite this then I don’t need any pathetic being I can rule this miserable place on my own. As for you Professor Galeano I no longer require your services. Now let me see how can I dispose of you” he said.
A white light suddenly illuminated from the book, it enveloped Nix’s head, Kez watched as it began to snake towards her and the young man she hurriedly got the young man to his feet and began to run back the way they had come, the light however was gaining on them…………
