Patrick Troughton is probably my favourite Doctor. The greatest DW tragedy (besides Colin's coat) is the destruction of so many of his episodes.
He was an interesting follow-on from Hartnell.
Worthy of discussion...

Troughton was a true great. I love how he described the original intrepretation of second Doctor: A windjammer captain with a Harpo Marx wig.
Thank god, that never happened. ;D

Well, not any more unfortunately. If I could have been a TARDIS companion to any Doctor, I would have chosen him. He was so wonderfully avuncular. Plus, Jamie was petty cute.

Troughton was a great actor and made a terrific Doctor. Without him playing the role after Hartnell left the show, I doubt we would have had 42 years and counting of Doctor Who.

Of all the surviving stories, I think Tomb of the Cybermen was the best. But I really have like to have seen his earlier work.

And where would we find them? www.recons.com/They do dubs all over the world! Check them out, they're awesome. I would especially reccommend Marco Polo and Power of the Daleks!

He was certainly the best actor ever to play the Doctor.
