It's been officially announced that Billie Piper is to leave the show at the end of this series.

There's an interesting line there though.

"...I can confirm it comes to an end, for now at least, as series two climaxes..."

It's that 'for now at least' that's interesting. Does Rose die (as claimed by the beast?) or is it left possible for her return?

Either way, the Christmas Special is going to be interesting.

I'm very sad, I went from thinking it was the worst decision ever to growing to love Billie and the character of Rose. However, since "School Reunion" and "The Girl In The Fireplace" I've pretty much told anyone who'll listen that Rose is gonna die at the end of the series. But then i thought that about Mickey and I was only half right. Who knows?
