Yes, my favourite potato-headed species is coming back in series 4. ;D
Christopher Ryan will play their leader. It's a shame it wasn't in series 1, as the were also Christopher Eccleston's fav as well.
Trivia: Chris Ryan previously appeared as the slug-like Mentor Kiv in Trial Of A Time Lord alongside Trevor Laird, who played Martha's dad in 2007.

The Sontarans were fun. Do you think they'll be the featured villian of the season like the Daleks, Cybermen and the Master were for the first three series?

Don't think so. I've heard a number of things to suggest a couple of other old enemies are appearing at the end of the series. I'd put a bet on them maybe appearing in the first episode or halfway through.

Never liked the Sontarans. I'd have rather seen a return for the Ice Warriors if someone had to be brought back.
I'd like to see the RTD crew try to create a brand new adversary for the finale this time round.

While I liked the idea of the Ice Warriors, the execution always seemed wooden. I thinkthe Sontarans were realized a little bit better.

Hmm. I'm not sure about the new style of uniform. But then again, as RTD nicked the original design for his Judoon, the Sontatan clothes had to be re-designed. The head and face looks OK though.

Yes! That's what was bugging me, something just didn't seem right and you've just hit the nail on the head. So is it just one solitary Sontaran? I think that'd be a shame, they are a clone race...we'll have to wait and see I suppose, glad Martha's in it, adds further weight to the rumour I heard that there's a joke about the Judoon or something.

Preferred the old-style quilted uniform meself. And the new face looks too human.
Quibble quibble.
The Sontaran warship in spin-off video 'Shakedown' (with Carole-Ann Ford and Sophie Aldred) looked great, as did Lynx's original quilted-pattern globe-ship. Hope they will acknowledge those designs.
I hope this means the Rutans return too. They were one of the few really ALIEN aliens.
I would like to see the Ice-Warriors return, with the old-look armour variants referenced and maybe sympathetically/plausibly explained/justified even if not adopted as such... eg 'archaic ceremonial battle dress of the traditional warrior-caste'. Let's have them recognisably of that same species/culture at least. They were referred to in "The Christmas Invasion" after all... the Sycorax were denied (by a UNIT person?) to be FROM Mars (just currently AT Mars), as 'Martians look completely different' or some such line.
