Definately the Brigadier! He'd probably be a bit old to be on active service now, but he could still be working for UNIT in an advisory role. It's be great to see him meet the Doctor again!

I totally agree with you Slagathor, it would be a good idea seeing as Torchwood is good, but I want more links back to UNIT. I always had this hope that Captain Jack would enlist the Brigadiers help in finding the Doctor in Torchwood. Who knows though? Apparently not all the cast have been announced!

Feline matrons in a hospital... my unfinished fan fiction 'Pick-Up Point' on the old BBCi boards had those! Not that I'm complaining. It's too general a resemblance to be considered plagiarism. Just a slight sense of deja vu for me, watching it... Couldn't help wondering if RTD had directly or indirectly been influenced by my tale, or if it was pure coincidence. The Azen in my story were humanoids experimentally altered with cat-genes by the Rani, and my character Zaussiir was the furry-featured Matron of the House of Healing (hospital/spiritual sanctuary/hospice) in the story. And there was something nasty going on (or suspected) in the basement, in both stories...  ;D |
